Kind to Kids Kickoff Event

This summer, hundreds of children in need were happy to meet the Blue Rock baseball players, shake hands with Rocky Bluewinkle, and watch the team in action. For many children, this was the first time they had ever been to a baseball game. Ashley said, “This is the most amazing experience I’ve ever had, so thank you very much!” Elijah said, “You inspire me to play baseball.” Ittya said, “I have never been to a real baseball game and I get to meet the players on the team. Thank you!”

Skating Party

Young children and staff will have a delightful afternoon of fun as they spend the afternoon ice skating with their friends.

West African Song and Dance Ensemble

Children and families from many organizations in Delaware were able to come together and experience the beauty of West African music and dance from this very talented group. Administrator, Chris, said, "This opportunity gives our kids exposure to new things in life.” Latiyah said, “Your music encourages me to go through life and know that I am blessed."

Harvest Moon Festival

Foster children and families attended a wonderful weekend event that included hayrides, pumpkin carving, maze, crafts, music and fun. Doris said, "It was a great experience for my two boys who have never seen a hog, gone on a hayride, milked a cow, or been able to run through a maze. It was great!"


Longwood Gardens
Fireworks and Fountain Show

Foster children and family members had a delightful time watching and listening to the beautiful fountain show and seeing their very first spectacular fireworks! Thomas said, "I had a good time. I liked the show. Can I go back?"
